Samtrafiken first in Europe using the standard OSDM-Online – an open and international traffic data standard.
Yesterday Samtrafiken’s National Distribution System, was launched in sharp operation. The system is based on the open and international standard OSDM-Online, developed by the UIC (International Union of Railways). With this competition-neutral standard, all producers have the opportunity to connect. The system will be connected to several booking platforms.

Samtrafiken and Turnit close a technology partnership deal based on open standards to develop the SEK 2 billion ticketing market in Sweden
Sweden is at the forefront of the liberalization of the mass transit market. The rail industry is fully liberalized with 10+ actors, and regional public transport, organised in 21 regions, has no formal monopolies. Samtrafiken has throughout the liberalization process, that has been ongoing for almost three decades, enabled combined travel through tickets called Resplus* in collaboration with all carrier parties.
