For us at Samtrafiken i Sverige AB (hereinafter referred to as "Samtrafiken"), your trust is of utmost importance. We build that trust by managing the information collected about you in a way that protects your privacy. The purpose of this personal data policy is to describe in a clear and transparent way how we collect and use personal data in our company.

Samtrafiken guarantees that your personal data is not passed on outside the EU / EEA, except in exceptional cases. If this is the case, Samtrafiken only uses technology solutions with subcontractors that meet the EU's requirements for personal data protection.

A Personal Data Manager is a person who determines the purpose and means of processing any personal data.

What does Personal Data Assistant mean?

A Personal Data Assistant processes personal data on behalf of a Personal Data Officer. Written agreement is required.

Personal data manager

For personal information available on Samtrafiken's website, in Trafiklab, newsletters, invitations to conferences and events, travel proposals sent via SMS or e-mail from Resrobot, Samtrafiken is responsible for personal information.

Personal data assistant

Samtrafiken is also involved in several services where we are not responsible for personal data. Examples of such services are:

  • Booking of assistance. Jernhusen is responsible for personal data.
  • Booking a ticket - Resplus or Förköpt Enkel - via one of Samtrafiken's partner companies. The public transport operator or selling party is the Person responsible for personal data.
  • Cases concerning compensation for delay that are handled by one of Samtrafiken's partner companies. The managing party is the person responsible for personal data.

In these cases, Samtrafiken is the Personal Data Assistant. If you are looking for information about which personal data is stored in the services where Samtrafiken is the Personal Data Assistant, you must contact the party who is responsible for personal data. The responsible party will in turn contact Samtrafiken to complete their picture of your personal information.

The purposes of our treatment

The overall purpose of our processing of your personal data is to be able to administer access to and use of our services.

Samtrafiken processes your data in accordance with the law.

Storage time

Your personal data is not stored longer than is necessary to fulfill its purpose with the processing described in this personal data policy. Your personal data is anonymized when it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected.

Complaints to the supervisory authority

You always have the right to file a complaint about our processing of your personal data to a supervisory authority which in our case is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection. For contact information, see www.imy.se. You are responsible for revoking your consent by contacting Samtrafiken.

This integrity policy may be updated to comply with the law. You can always find the latest version on Samtrafiken's website.

Request for extract from the register regarding personal data

Samtrafiken will need to secure your identity in contact regarding your personal information. The purpose is to prevent harm to you and to protect your rights. Depending on what the contact refers to, we may therefore require that you can prove your identity in an appropriate way. When you contact us, Samtrafiken will save information about you that is necessary to resolve your case. This can, for example, be your contact information.
